I'm cooking my first turkey today, and I'm so excited. It's a huge sucker that is taking forever to defrost, so we opted for the tub method last night.
In the picture is the rock Brian gave me, which I used to hold the turkey in the water.

thats so much fun! when we cooked our turkey we weren't sure if it was going to be defrosted in time so we put it in the sink for a long time. After that, it took forever to cook, but it was so worth it!

Good luck with that! I haven't ever cooked a turkey and I also have never had turkey in my bathtub! I am behind on the times.
