A Bouncing Baby

Yesterday we went in for our ultrasound. Everything looks great, and we're having a boy! Alyssa's been hoping for a girl, so she's a little disappointed, but she says she'll love a brother anyway. Ethan just had a great time sitting on Brian's shoulders and throwing himself backward.

We're excited to have another little boy! They can sing together for Ethan's missionary farewell, and then they probably won't see each other for four years until the younger one comes home from his mission, and then they'll sing for the homecoming. They can wrestle together and share a room and play sports together. It'll be so much fun!

You've really thought this through, Carrie! It is so fun when your boys start wrestling together! Poor Alyssa though...Kenna feels her pain :-)

How fun! Yeah, it was the same way for my dad and his brother with their missions. And my grandma had 10 kids so the last was born while my dad was on his mission. So with missions and everything, they couldn't get a family picture with everyone there for a long time! :)

Congrats!!! I love how you have planned out their mission farewells. Its is going to be so great to have the two boys together and close in age. Alyssa will just have to settle with being their "mom" and bossing around her two little brothers.
