Alyssa fell asleep during scripture study last night, too, but she woke up when we were done and said, "I'm going to bed and I'm going to tuck myself in," and got up and left.
And I couldn't help but get a picture of the kids during Read Aloud Time a few minutes ago. I love having Alyssa home with us during the day!

That's cute!
It is times like those that I remember Elder Bednar's talk about they won't remember what was learned but they will remember doing it. (and remember falling asleep during 2 Nephi) It's the consistency that is important. And then I let out a sigh of relief! :-)
I just wish my kids would hold still long enough to fall asleep during scripture study!
We need to be better about scripture study, I'd especially love it if our kids would zonk out- they're usually bouncing off the walls when we try to do it. :)
I love the purple couch, bytheway, super cute!
I'm glad that I see some of your other commentators have more of my situation. I would love if they would sit still, but we usually have some sort of argument while the kids are really going crazy at scripture study. We didn't even read for more than a minute! I wish that it would get better but for now we decided to maintain some sort of spirit and just do family prayer. I would love ideas as I hate giving up on this. I thought about just making them sit down on school like chairs instead of trying to get them to sit on our laps?
2 Nephi is boring for me and I am 41 years old, single, never married, no kids. I keep plugging away though....
